Language Literacy and Numeracy
Course Entry Interview and Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Summary
To ensure applicants are placed in a suitable course with an appropriate training and assessment strategy, Vocational Training Institute (VTI) reviews each applicant’s existing knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
You will be asked to participate in this course entry interview during the enrolment process by providing details of your existing knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications that are relevant to the course being applied for. We will then review this information and respond to you with the outcome of the review.
The course entry interview will also assess your Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills to assess whether you have the required skills to complete this course, and to determine whether you require any additional support in order to complete the course successfully.
There are two parts in the LLN test, including oral and written questions.
Oral questions: Your assessor will ask you a number of questions to test your oral communication skills and then record your responses.
Written questions: This part includes typically learning & writing, reading, recognising and numeracy.
